VEX IQ CHALLENGE
Compete on a New Level of International Robotics
Join a VEX IQ team! The program competes in the DC VEX league. We have around three tournaments a season and then qualifications for VEX Worlds, the largest robotics competition in the world! VEX is a competitive robotics program that runs four months in fall starting in September and winter starting in January for kids in third grade or those younger with a history in robotics.
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE CHALLENGE
Compete in America's Favorite Robotics Program!
Join CCR's FIRST program in the DC/VA league. FIRST Robotics uses the LEGO Mindstorms robots that performs on a field for the engineering to code and program! FIRST is a competitive robotics program that run four months in fall starting in September for kids in 3rd grade or those younger with a history in robotics and computer science.

Robotics for the STEAM Inspired
For young scientists who don’t feel ready to compete, FIRST LEGO League, Jr. is the perfect opportunity to experience the best of what Capitol City Robotics has to offer without the stress of competitions. Our FLL JR. program is STEAM oriented that fully engages engineers’ imaginations, encouraging them to explore, learn, and grow in a scientific and fun atmosphere! We end the semester at an expo where students show their research and talent. FLL JR. is for students 1st to 3rd or K with a hunger for science and exploration! Programs will begin January 2022.

VEX GO Competiton
For Our Young Engineers!
New to robotics or just curious? Join the VEX GO engineering program for grades 1st to 3rd! The program exposes student to the engineering and computer science aspect of robotics in a semi-competitive environment! We use the latest and newfangled VEX robots to be sure that students are given the latest tech to learn from. The VEX GO program concludes with the VGOC challenge where students go on driving and coding STEM mission.
