As the Chief Operating Officer, Adeline Brock manages Capitol City Robotics involvement in fundraising and development, primarily working outside of the organization. She establishes and upkeeps relationships with external organizations, develops CCR both financially and structurally, and ensures CCR stays true to its mission by being a STEM for all organization. 

Having been a mentor, intern, and program manager, she has inside knowledge and perspective from multiple positions internally that can help her know what decisions are best to make and what goals are in the best interest for students at CCR. 

Adeline strives to develop CCR’s mission and expand the organization by securing funding to achieve their ambitious goals, and create partnerships to strengthen their connections and bases in the area.

Adeline Brock has been involved with Capitol City Robotics since the Spring of 2025. She started off as a mentor for a team, then became an intern for another team which she’s now program managing. This experience then opened up the opportunity for her to build her own program for young children interested in STEAM, which is now CCR’s primary introductory program. 

Considered a good leader, communicator, and committed student/worker, Adeline enjoys a range of activities and is involved in countless programs both inside and outside of school. She is a current Sophomore at DC International High School. Inside school, she is a board member of YPAR, a student club that seeks to solve problems in the school by conducting research projects, writing papers, and presenting findings to audiences. Additionally, she is a veteran Student Ambassador, a group of students that represent the school and its values, and who tour prospective students, families, and staff, detailing what the school is about in hopes they will attend in the future. She is an avid participant and pursuer of music and theater as well, which has taught her to take criticism and communicate effectively.
