
As Chief of Staff, Nzali helps oversee program operations, communication, and team coordination across student-led initiatives. She works closely with mentors, managers, students, and parents to ensure programs run smoothly and efficiently.
Having previously served as a Program Manager for DI, she has gained unique experiences and a strong understanding of teamwork, organization, accountability, and what it takes to be a successful program manager. Her background allows her to support both students and other managers while helping improve systems and communication throughout the program.
Nzali is committed to creating supportive, organized, and engaging environments where students of all different backgrounds can grow their confidence, leadership, and STEM skills.
Nzali Mwanza-Shannon is a sophomore at DC International. Over the past several years, she has been actively involved in leadership and mentorship programs, serving as a Mentor, Manager in Training, Program Manager, and now Chief of Staff. Through these roles, she has helped coordinate teams, support students and mentors, and develop her program.
Recognized for her leadership, responsibility, and communication skills, Nzali has completed over 100 hours of community service while maintaining a 3.8 GPA. She has earned Honor Roll recognition for two years and Principal’s List recognition for one year. Outside of academics and leadership, she is involved in varsity volleyball and enjoys mentoring students and helping build strong team environments.
