Talia Shi
President

As President of the Student Executive Board, Talia oversees all student‑led operations and organizational development, providing strategic guidance and ensuring effective coordination across programs.

She brings experience from every level of the organization, having served as a mentor, program manager, and executive board member. This background gives her a comprehensive understanding of both program delivery and leadership.

Talia is committed to expanding the organization’s reach in DC while upholding its core values of inclusivity and STEM for all. 

Talia Shi is an 11th grader at DC International High School. She has spent the past three years deeply involved in CCR programs, serving as a mentor and program manager for elementary school initiatives. She has also taken on the role of Chief Content Officer, leading marketing and fundraising efforts, and now serves as the student leader of the Executive Board.

Recognized for her strengths in leadership, communication, and teamwork, Talia is actively involved in Model UN and volunteers in classrooms as an assistant teacher. She has earned leadership positions in multiple school clubs, joined the National Honor Society, and founded several clubs and educational spaces to pursue her passion for education, demonstrating her dedication, initiative, and ability to excel in diverse environments.
